Yesterday, 10th April, I set out on the next stage of my Camino in memory of Philip Endean SJ, my old university friend, who inspired me to want to do this back in the 1970s.
Today I fly to Barcelona, and then tomorrow I will catch trains up to Logroño where I rejoin the Camino Francés.

That was where I got to last September, more than six months ago. Since then I have gained a third grandson! I am very excited to be getting back on the trail, and open to all the adventures that come my way. But after a bad fall in February, and mindful that I have landed up in hospital twice in France, and that I am now seventy, my watchword is, safety first!
